Friendly staff, felt that James the vet had a really nice unrushed manner. Thorough in his examination but also caring in the way he handled my nervous cat. And fully explained everything. Not cheap, but what is these days and probably on a par with other practices and the receptionist threw in some free samples of toothpaste to try rather than first lash out on a full tube. I've been taking her since she was a kitten.

I wanted to share this review, as even though the circumstances were sad, the outcome has brought warmth and restored some faith in humanity. This review talks about euthanasia, and I know this is a sensitive topic for many — if this is the case, I suggest you skip this one out, but in short - what a great, professional, and empathetic vets. I couldn’t be more thankful for the compassion and genuine care shown to our beloved old pooch, Charlie, when we knew it was his time last week. The time and tenderness shown by the vet and nurse to make sure he felt safe and loved was touching and reassuring. It’s such a difficult decision to make, but at no point did we feel pushed or pressured. We had prepared ourselves, knowing this would likely be a one-way journey — and it was clear the team knew in their hearts too that it was the kindest option. There was no coercion, only sincere, professional guidance, and the sense that they genuinely had Charlie’s best interests at heart. We were given the time, space, and opportunity to be with him privately afterwards, and we were not rushed, with the vets staying close by for us to give them a knock when we were ready to say our goodbyes — and that meant everything. I didn’t know what to expect, and I feared it might be a traumatic experience having missed the recent passing of my dad (who was charlie's best mate!), I couldn’t not be there for his final moments - the energy of the Vets made me feel capable and like I was doing the right thing, and inadvertently, this has helped me start forgive myself for not being there for my dad! They treated Charlie exactly as I would hope to be treated myself, like a normal, sleepy dog. They spoke to him and to us with equal compassion the entire time. The kindness shown to us has helped me to lift the fear I had around what this moment might be like, and process some unspent grief and I couldn't be more thankful. Please keep caring. 🩷

James and Emily have both been absolutely brilliant with our reactive pup Willow, they’ve been understanding and really accommodating. The Receptionists are always very helpful too. This clinic makes stressful situations so much easier.

We came to this vets today after we’d noticed something wasn’t right with a cat we’d adopted. I can honestly say the staff were amazing. Today has been so difficult and life feels pretty cruel to have lost her this soon but the staff here went above and beyond. From the reception staff who were chatty and comforting whilst waiting to be seen, to the vet who looked after our little Luna and was so caring and understanding and also the vet nurse who took her paw prints and fur clippings. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you did today. I’m so pleased Luna was cared for by such lovely people.
