Accrington Vets4Pets Ltd, located in Accrington, Lancashire, is a veterinary clinic with a solid reputation, as reflected in its 4.5-star rating from 245 Google reviews. This high rating suggests a generally positive client experience, but a closer look at individual reviews reveals a mixed picture.
The clinic also serves as a Veterinary Nurse Training facility, indicating a commitment to education and professional development in veterinary care. However, some recent negative reviews highlight potential concerns. One-star reviews from clients like Denise Holt and Elizabeth Birbeck criticize the clinic for prioritizing financial gain over patient care, with specific complaints about high costs and delayed communication regarding test results. Annette Passco also shared a negative experience, citing incompetence and poor customer service during multiple visits for her dog’s routine procedures.
Contrasting these are positive reviews from clients such as D Ck and Josh Fox. D Ck praises the reception team and highlights Emma, a vet who has garnered trust through effective communication and care for a long-term pet. Josh Fox expresses satisfaction with the friendly staff and positive experiences for his puppy.
Pricing transparency is a concern raised in reviews, with one citing a £140 charge for a blood test as excessive. Overall, while the clinic maintains a high average rating, the mixed reviews suggest that while many clients have positive experiences, others have encountered significant issues, particularly regarding communication and perceived prioritization of financial considerations.

Not very compitant took my dog 5 times for his nails and anal glands doing the last time he was supposed to have a sedation done, but they still didn't do it left me struggling to put the muzzle on on my own while the vet and nurse just watched me absolutely no patience what so ever!! And not to mention the vet as lied to me twice about things that I've asked him, took my boy to mearlys and absolutely no problem they put a muzzle on him and sedated him while he was lovely and calm and said he was such a lovely little boy.....what a difference definitely will not step foot in accrington vets 4pets again.

The reception team are fantastic. Very helpful. Emma the vet, has looked after my old girl of 15 years, since moving back to the uk last year. Emma actually listens, understands and makes you feel like you trust her.
