Steph at Rufford Vet’s I would be lost without her! Always great service, attention to detail. Treats my horses as her own. Nothing is ever to much. Joanne in the office is great at booking my appointments, making sure my account is up to date and anything I need is never too much. Always makes sure my insurance is sorted. Thank you

Very friendly staff. Very professional & helpful. Clare the equine vet was thorough and took the time to explain everything to me step by step. The equine care plan is a great way of keeping costs down too and enables you to pay monthly.

This is the 2nd time I thought I was going to loose my horse and clare came out and 2 weeks later my horse is in the road to recovery even at 24. Thankyou so so much you all been amazing wouldn't use anyone else ❤️

My horse has been lame for 12 months and most of that time spent on box rest. Steph and the team have been great with mikey. He's not an easy character to handle. But now I have a horse that can enjoy being lightly ridden and pain free. Cannot thank them enough.

This is about the holly lane branch. NOT southport. I have no problems with southport. I took my cat in 13 days ago for endoscopy , they were happy to take £908.50 off me but when I picked him up they wouldn't tell me results. I had to insist someone find out if it was good or bad as not fair to leave me waiting.i was told nothing to worry about and the vet would phone that night or next day. No one phoned that night....or next day until I phoned them, a couple of times.The vet did phone eventually but could not tell me anything definitive. Mentioned biopsy which left me more worried.He sed he would ring early the next week as results should be back the next day. Early next week came and went, I went into southport and phoned a couple of time. Told vet wasn't in, results not back, I got told nothing. He is my son's cat,he has autism and us worried about his cat. I gave up, phoned yesterday said I wasn't happy, why had no one phoned me,it's not fair to leave me worried. Was told vet would phone me today after 12 if not I had to phone them again. Guess what I phoned AGAIN. Really not happy that no one is telling me what is wrong with my cat,I was told the results came in give days ago....a joke no one could explain. I have been left with questions about my cat no one will answer, we have been put through nearly two weeks of worry getting told bits each time I have to ring, they took my money off me quick enough but have no regard for me and my son as owners leaving us upset and worried. Telling me little bits followed by 'i don't know' when u question them. No explanation as to why no one gave me results last week. I have never had problems with southport and they have some amasing staff but the rufford branch is an embarrassment to this firm. They should know animals are like family and leaving us with so many unanswered questions and worry, especially with someone who has autism is just bad practice. I would not recommend rufford practice and anyone seeking care and compassion to look elsewhere.
