They’ve done something to their online appointment form preventing you from booking online. It used to always work, and now I can never book healthy pet checks or nail clips for my cats on the form, but I can for dogs. It pretends every time slot is unavailable. Hard to believe it’s simply broken as it’s been like this for several months now. It feels like it’s being prevented on purpose.

Can be appallingly expensive! Not long ago, I was charged £685 for sedating my old Bulgarian street dog and puting a stitch in his ear. This kind of practice is, frankly, not on!

I have been attending Rufford veterinarian surgery for a long time and have always found the consultants and staff at Rufford veterinary surgery, very polite and friendly ,and would truly and highly recommend it to all my family and friends with pets . I have always felt happy and reassured when leaving the surgery..

So far really unhappy. Having had to have an emergency consultation for our dog, I agreed with the vet what procedure was required along with a full breakdown of cost for everything. I have since been charged for the consultation which I was told was included in the total cost, I now have a cost breakdown (having had to chase twice) where there is treatment that wasn’t discussed or agreed and the total cost has increased without explanation.

I have been with rufford vets for many years and my dogs have always had the best care! They are a brilliant vet practice.
