Excellent vet practice had a few difficult months with our pets. But due to old age and illnesses couldn't be saved, that's way of things. But all the vets were very honest with their diagnosis and didn't try to pass on aby unnecessary treatment. And also thank you to reception staff for thier help and understanding with the loss of beloved dog.

On the 08/09/25 my cat  received a flea treatment applied directly by the vet at your practice. Despite this, my cat still has live fleas, and I have already treated the entire house several times and followed all recommended advice when I phoned the practice 3 days after treatment. A week later and still not worked. I contacted the practice via email and yet to get a response. This treatment is alot of money and im so disappointed. # Review Edited: 16/09 Since this review I received an email today 16/09 in response to this review. In the email I was given information about the product that wasn't explained to me on the phone when I voiced my concerns initially. I was also told that a quick Google would have explained everything. I did but this information wasn't there. Also I reached out for support and got no reply until I made this review. If I was given the correct advice in the first instance all of this stress could have been avoided. I was also reminded my cat needs other treatment. This is something I discussed with the vet as im financially struggling and was very upsetting so a reminder wasn't necessary.

Exceptional care but misleading pricing and I have on occasion felt pressured to pay for 'gold standard' style expensive treatments that aren't essential but have been presented as being so until Ive really pushed. Both practises are clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly.

Booked in for my 4 year Belgian Malinois to get castrated and I could not complement the vets enough. Our dog is very nervous of the vets and has really bad anxiety. Before booking they went out of there way to ensure we could take him first thing out of the way of other dogs and then pick him up as soon as the anesthesia wore off. The first time did not work and he was too nervous to even let the vet touch him. The whole team then got together and supported us the next day. We took him back a day later after having some calming tablets and the vet Henry was great with him. They let us go through the fire door and talk us through every step, once our dog has his injection we felt extremely comfortable leaving him. They rang us as soon as it was done and told us we could collect him. When picking him up they were nothing be accommodating and let us take him back out the fire door. Thank you very much to Henry and all the vet nurses for being so accommodating and understanding of our dog's needs.

It’s always an anxious moment when you visit a new vets for the first time, but with Burch Tree I know we’ve made the right choice. Such friendly, warm, welcoming staff and such a positive and personable atmosphere in the whole environment. I feel for sure that our dog will get the best care here in the years to come. Thank you for putting my mind at rest so easily yesterday!
