If I could put 0 stars I would do Let’s start off with November 2024 our 23 year old cat was literally dying and it didn’t take a vet to tell us that, we took our cat for medication to make sure she wasn’t in any pain and comfy so she could pass away peacefully at home, some one that’s not even a qualified vet seen to our cat and told my wife to spend £400+ to flush our cats internal system and it could give her a full 360 turn as she has seen this happen in the past (the cat was lifeless) giving my missus that last bit of hope she could save our cat life like I said it didn’t take a vet to tell us she was lifeless, the cat passed the day after, I brought this up with the owner and she agreed an unqualified vet should never of said that to my wife It doesn’t end there on to my dog, he’s constantly got ear infections and I seen so many vets at Irlam animal clinic and my dog was put on all sorts of different medications, diets and tests, no answers ever they all feed you all different WRONG opinions passing you from pillar to post making you spend money 3 months ago I mentioned to a vet my dog had really smelly breath and his teeth had plaque he basically told me to just brush his teeth after a brief look. Tuesday 29th July I mentioned his teeth to a different vet she advised a scale and polish and ONE tooth needs extracting, I booked him in for that the following week, took him to his appointment, please bare in mind my dog is 3 year old and very healthy while he was under Anaesthetic I received a call saying he needed 7 teeth removing why wasn’t I told at the Tuesday appointment last week I was only told it was the 1 tooth I was absolutely mortified This vet just do nothing but want money off you and they all have different opinions and pass you all false information Money grabbers they don’t care about your animals

My experience at Irlam Animal Clinic was deeply concerning and resulted in a completely inaccurate diagnosis for my dog. I brought my dog in with a foot issue, and the clinic immediately diagnosed him with cancer and recommended amputating his toe. The most alarming aspect of this visit was that this serious diagnosis and the recommendation for a radical surgery were made without performing a biopsy. After receiving such a severe diagnosis and recommendation for unnecessary surgery, I sought a second opinion. The new veterinarian performed a thorough examination and confirmed that the issue was not cancer and would heal on its own. It is highly concerning that Irlam Animal Clinic would suggest an invasive procedure like amputation without following standard veterinary protocols, which typically require a biopsy to confirm a cancer diagnosis. This misdiagnosis caused significant distress and nearly resulted in my dog undergoing an unnecessary and life-altering surgery. I strongly advise other pet owners to seek a second opinion if they receive a similar diagnosis from this clinic.

Caring and compassionate at front of house. This all changes however once they know you are financially embarrassed and have difficulty paying. They turn almost hostile and inflate projected costs in an effort to get shut of you. Our potential overnight cat stay plus x-rays and care (£250-£1200 average) went from their estimate of 2K to thousands one they knew we could not pay in full. BUISNESS FIRST-PET CARE LAST Please everyone be aware that no vet in the UK can refuse treatment to a suffering animal. Our cat was found and taken in by a third party.

Ive had to take my cat as she wasn't well and unfortunately she had to be put to sleep 😭 the vet i have to say she was absolutely fantastic with me and my cat brilliant vets very welcoming and understanding

I am very impressed with the immediate , kind, professional and overall impressive care my family have advised me about joining Irlam Animal Clinic. I am living in the area again, and have already made 1 visit , I find the staff very helpful and friendly, and will be joining their pet club.
