Absolutely diabolical. Only visited this practice the once as I have recently moved to the area. Joined this practice as it’s the cheapest in the area and I guess that really shows with the service me and my little doggy received. However, moved to the vets up the road and had a positive experience.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff at Rose Valley for the patience, kindness and understanding they showed to myself and my very nervous, anxious jack Russell who desperately needed her nails cutting. I was really worried about sedation but everything was fully explained and after trying and failing all other methods at other practices it actually turned out to be the kindest and calmest way to deal with the nail trimming. I was allowed to stay and observe meaning I could be there for when she woke up. Reasonably priced too. Thoroughly recommended. Can’t thank you enough!

Firstly I would like to give some background. We had a beautiful cocker spaniel called Charlie. He had a few issues which his initial vet wanted to amputate his paw. This seemed excessive to us so we sought a second opinion. We took Charlie to Rose valley vets where he was welcomed, calmed and shown love, the vet said that the previous diagnosis was incorrect. He was given antibiotics, the paw sore was cleaned and bandaged. We were told to leave the bandage on for 7 days, when we removed it and then he had finished his course of antibiotics the wound had heald no more problems. Finally at 12 years Charlie got a massive lump in his neck and in his mouth. We obviously took him to Rose Valley but the prognosis was not good. We asked for their honest opinion saying if Charlie was your dog what would you do? They answewd honestly and we booked an appointment for the vet to come to our home and put him to sleep. This for any animal owner is horrendous. Myself, my two boys and husband were in bits. The vets arrived as arranged, they were lovely with Charlie chatting to him petting him and relaxing him, he was licking the vets arm when he shaved his leg and put the canula in, we were given time and sat with him comfortably, very gently the vet injected the fluid into Charlie. Within 5 seconds our best friend was out of pain and had gone to a better place. Painful for us but made so much better by the love care and attention from these wonderful vets. We cannot thank you enough x

Awful vet practice. Receptionist is incompetent. Asked for vet appointment for prescriptions and was booked with the nurse. Nurse couldn’t prescribe but still had to pay. Still had to see vet to get prescriptions. Had to pay again despite explaining we were booked with nurse by the receptionist and explicitly asked for the vet. Paid twice for what we needed. Not caring for animals, all about the money. Avoid

One of the most upsetting things you can do is put your beloved pet to sleep. From the minute we walked in the door, we received nothing but a professional and empathetic service from all staff involved. We wanted our pet to be cremated and to receive her ashes back, which we got back today which took around 2 weeks. We asked for a scatter tube which we got, but we also got some amazing keepsakes. We got cards with our pets paw print in them as well as forget me not seeds to scatter in our garden. I would highly recommend anyone to use Rose Valley Veterinary Surgery for all your pets needs, whatever they may be.
