I've been to several different vets with my cat Patch but Robert Jones is the Vets I trust the most with my baby, I am autistic so struggle with health anxiety for my cat & trust issues because hes my baby, so I question myself alot on whether Im making the right desions due to worrying about him. However out of 3 different vets in Blackpool, Robert Jones being a 4th, Robert Jones is where I felt like my baby was safest & most confident with his care he has received, I moved him due to location convenience and wanting a second opinion due to my own anxiety for his health just for my own mind just so I could be sure I'd done all I can more for my own head. However Robert Jones is where I feel like my cats care was cared for most effectively by far! Robert Jones also care for my dog too and do a fantastic job, I fully trust them with all my furbabies over anywhere else in Blackpool, they was also very compassionate & supportive when my dog passed away & the care he recieved was always fantastic. Me and my family have used Robert Jones for years! And would truly recommend this lovely welcoming vet! Thank you, Patch's Mummy

I brought in a homeless cat for a check-up and no check / consultation was provided. When I asked why I was being charged a £63 consultation fee if no consultation took place, the receptionist Rachel argued with me and said: “it’s not the professional’s fault that your cat is unmanageable and go somewhere else.” Rachel’s attitude was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Rather than showing any empathy or offering advice, she argued with me and dismissed my concerns. This is not how a receptionist at a veterinary practice should treat people who are simply trying to help an animal in need. I was only in the consultation room for a couple of minutes and feel I paid £63 for nothing, as I received no service — only a quote, which should be provided free of charge. In effect, I paid £63 just for a quote. I also have two cats registered with this practice and have had them here for years, and I am in shock at the way I was treated by the receptionist.

Must thank Tina the vet today. Our little Chief cat was so poorly. He came of an age beyond any repair and ended his time in my arms with Tina's loving care and professional service 🐈‍⬛️ Have used this veterinary practice for many years with my rescues. The best 🧡

I would like to say a big thank you to the two lovely ladies on reception, who always give amazing customer support and advice. I visited today with my cat, for her vaccinations. Think one may be called Rachel? Apologies as I don’t know the other lady’s name. I know how hard it is in customer facing roles, and appreciate their assistance.

We lived in Spain, came back to UK and startedto use Robert Jones vets in Blackpool, they were newly opened, and to be honest it was chaos, computers were not up and running, lack of staff and i found one of the receptionists quite rude. We decided to stick with this vets giving them the benefit of the doubt due to them not opening very long. We had 4 cats 3 dogs, all came back from Spain with us. One of my dogs had his nails cut by a so called vet a young girl who when i asked for his nails to be cut she said she would give it a try! Seriously!! She made my dogs nails bleed, i said what the hell are you doing? We had them all annually vaccinated last year, but decided now not to go back as it was very hard to get appointments there and we found it expensive. Yesterday we went to another vets for our animals annual jabs, but they couldn't do them as Robert Jones did not give us any vaccination cards, so the new vets and ourselves rung Rober Jones for history of our animals to be sent via e mail to new vets. When we got the e mails, we now notice that none of the animals it states has a micro chip! How the hell do we take them back and forth to Spain with us if no micro chip? Of course they are chipped but we never saw anyone at Robert Jones check for a chip...we have even changed details on the chips. This goes to show how incompetent they are at this vets, and would never trust them with my animals. We are now settled and happy with a new vets who know exactly what they are doing! Good luck if you go to Robert Jones vets @ Blackpool! If you do, check everything they do!
