⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t thank Stanley House enough for how amazing they were last night. I wasn’t even registered with them, but when my dog needed to be seen as an emergency they took us in straight away and were so professional, caring and compassionate from start to finish. They treated my girl so gently and made a really stressful situation so much easier. Everything was explained clearly, and she was seen quickly and thoroughly. I’m so grateful for how prompt and kind everyone was — especially Chloe and Leanne ( I hope I got the names correct, apologies if not). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a practice that truly cares about both pets and owners.

Caring compassionate. Explained the whole process which was very reassuring. And gave my furbaby a second lease of live. Doing a life saving operation. Always putting my dog and me first. Thankyou

Met with Vet Rory who was one of the best vets I have seen in a long while. Took time to listen, was lovely with my 12 year old dog, Elvis, didn't recommend any unnecessary procedures, talked me through my options and gave advice on each one. I didn't feel rushed (even though they were busy) and came away feeling much hopeful for my older animal getting what he needs

Had to wait 5 days for my dog to have a blood test, results had came back and only the vet that had seen my dog could give me the results , had to wait until the vet was back on duty, unfortunately not good enough my dog was without medication as the vet was off work for 3 days. Always had good experiences here But unfortunately i will be looking for different vets Recently asked the price for 2 dogs to have Animal health certificate £285.00 Went to another local vets and got the same certificate £150.00

You wouldn't wish them on your worst enemy! Not good enough. Their record keeping is poor and they missed diagnosis post operation that resulted in a horrific death for our pet vomiting bile up the high street (trying to take her back in a third time), despite me bringing her back in the two week post op period being told she was perfectly fine although I had been concerned about her appetite and developing a nasty cough. This developed upon coming round after a minor eye operation and clearly a reaction to the anaesthetic or damage it may have caused to her throat bringing on sepsis. If only I had got a second opinion elsewhere! She was a 7 year old dog and should have had many years ahead of her. The reason I am writing this review is we have tried to see them since for another pet 2.5 years later and they want to charge us an emergency pet registration fee for another animal and claimed we haven't been registered with them since we had a rabbit many years ago. We have called and registered foster animals since then but never needed to use the service. We also never owned a rabbit but my family did at another address. Despite this, they wouldn't use alternative address claiming a family address with more recent visits wasn't acceptable because it wasn't our name so the rule seems to work only for them and not for you in terms of addresses. They sent a card after we lost our dog at the time but seemingly have no record of her existing now! Dealing with them is honestly utterly heartbreaking and traumatic and we need other vets in the area so there are better options for better care and less chance to be ripped off. Please do yourself a favour and try other clinics first!
